How does CSOM Online work?

Online students may take our courses simply for their own learning (at no cost), or may register and pay for college-level credit.   Our fees are extremely low and vary in cost due to the difficulty or number of credit hours received for each.

The lessons are taught via video/audio and most are accompanied by a downloadable Study Guide in PDF format.  Students simply view or listen to the corresponding course videos/audios, and may choose to take notes in their Study Guides.  Most courses consist of approximately 10 to 13 lessons.

CSOM never charges for the courses or curriculum available online, or from its partnering ministries who have granted copyright access; but only for the maintenance of records for those students seeking transcript credit with CSOM.
Once you have registered, simply click on COURSE LIST in the left-hand menu and select the course(s) for which you have registered.  From then on you just click, print, listen and learn!

Upon completion of a course of study, students must submit and pass the Final Exam for said course in order to receive transcript credit. If you desire to take the courses for transcript credit, you simply need to register.  Once registered you will be directed to our shopping cart where you can pay for the course(s) you desire or you can contact us to submit your payment by mail.

CSOM will then track and document your progress, grading your work and maintaining an official transcript of your credit hours.  At the minimum completion of 60 credit hours, registered/paid students will receive an Associates Diploma in Biblical Studies from CSOM.  Registered/paid students who complete a minimum of 120 credit hours may complete courses to either receive a Bachelors Diploma in Ministry or a Bachelors Diploma in Biblical Studies.

CSOM also awards transfer credits for the completion of the course:  Perspectives on the World Christian Movement offered by the U.S. Center for World Missions.  We further offer transfer credit for courses completed through the International School of Ministry, a separate educational site, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Don't delay!  Whether you are taking for transcipt credit or just for your own benefit, get started today equipping yourself to be and do ALL that God has for you!

"Evangelism is not a professional job for a few trained men, but is instead the unrelenting responsibility of every person who belongs to the company of Jesus." - Elton Trueblood
