Welcome to CHRIO School of Ministry Online

“And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”

-- Ephesians 4:11-12

"Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not whether they be clergymen or laymen, they alone will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon Earth." John Wesley

HRIO School of Ministry (CSOM) is a four-year Bible college under the direction of Church 4:18 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Students may attend classes in a traditional class setting, or may take online courses from the comfort of their homes via this website, CSOM Online.

Founded in 1997 by Dr. J. T. Parish, SOM was established to give not only a strong Biblical foundation but the practical training necessary to prepare individuals to do the ministry God has called each of them to do.

Currently, School of Ministry offers classes on various campuses throughout the world.  Our online courses are also designed to facilitate Biblical training and strengthen individual ministries regardless of a student's location or schedule.

CSOM's vision is to equip both lay people for ministry within the local church, as well as those individuals who feel a special call into full-time ministry.  Further emphasis is placed on missions and the fulfillment of the Great Commission that Jesus gave to the church corporately and individually.

We recognize the truth that ALL Christians are ministers and, therefore, we each need to be equipped to serve the Lord in whatever calling or area He has placed us. Further, some are called into specific full-time ministries.

Paul’s admonition to Timothy is still good for us today. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

II Timothy 2:15
